Recycling/Waste Disposal
There are unique and innovative recycling and waste initiatives that are ongoing within the region. Kindersley’s Waste Management Facility is the first of its kind in western Canada. It accepts all types of recyclables and solid waste. Recyclables are baled and shipped to market but what makes this facility unique is that the solid waste is also baled and placed in a Balefill disposal area. This process yields very efficient use of the disposal area not to mention clean and pest free.
